An Unusual Dream.

Watercolor Layouts

Something is Happening...

An unsual dream where the imagination has no limits.
Once, a little kid peeked trough his window and entered a new reality, the unusual relaity of surrealism. Whales swimming and dazzling through the skies. A sky filled with blue and purple splashes, ready to ignite dreams that were once underestimated...

Life is made of dreams; what is now proved was once imagined. A little kid once envisioned a world with no limits, were the law of gravity failed to prevail and life just took a random course. A world filled with wonder, a free world, were no kid was ever judged by its intellect nor skills. This world only lived in the kid’s imagination, as he woke up every day, he wondered why his life was so different from his dream. He asked his mother as well as his teacher, but they both responded with, “life is just different for all of us”. Time went by and the kid searched and searched for answer but failed to understand the true meaning of his dream. When the kid started growing into a man, he got to realize that no one is the same, and in a world filled with pride and intolerance no one can be its true self. Meaning, that no matter how much we picture or imagine a place where someone believes in us, our current reality is not the same; transformations over kid’s imaginations tarnish those dreams as irrelevant and just part of their imagination. With this story I started my ongoing process in art, I imagined a different world, a perfect utopia, filled with cooled colors which symbolized the ongoing oppression over one’s ideals and thoughts. Using the wet on wet technique, I gave my brush the opportunity of doing marvelous things, these things being the soft less edges with paint dripping in the whale’s leg. As a final message let us all use our imaginations as it should not be tarnished but embraced, making us the better versions of ourselves.
